SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

Who You Are

You already love using social media: you know what you like to see from brands on social, and more importantly, you understand how it’s done. Now you’re ready to immerse yourself in the nitty gritty of what makes a brand’s social media presence successful and help get them where they need to go.

What You’ll Do

You’ll help oversee our social programming process, from concept calendar creation to community response. Along the way, you’ll be posting (and even creating) content and executing paid promotion plans. You’ll also manage our clients’ communities by quickly responding to social media posts. Over time, you’ll segue into more of a coordinator role, working closely with other teams along the way.

Specifically, you’ll be:

  • Managing our clients’ communities by responding to customer and fan messages on social platforms within very specific response times
  • Managing concept calendars to ensure content creation is on track
  • Collaborating closely with Production, Copy, and Design teams to ensure content is up to date with client revisions and requests
  • Monitoring competitive industry social media activities and new software/methods to incorporate into future programs
  • Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and other graphic design skills are a plus

Our Must-Haves

  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms, including their respective strengths and demographics (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Top-notch writing and customer service skills (you can communicate concisely, yet warmly, over various media, and you live and breathe that the customer is always right)
  • Strong spoken/written English
  • A stellar communicator with great presentation skills (you’re happy to jump in and clarify process or strategy decisions for clients)
  • Equal parts confidence, humility, and desire to learn

UK Brand Promoter

MET was founded 30 years ago and is headquartered in near Milan in Talamona. MET sells protective equipment for cycling such as helmets, body protectors etc. through retail stores worldwide and is continuing to grow.

MET UK is a subsidiary of MET Spa based in Italy. Our operation in the UK provide Sales, Technical service and Logistic to the local IBD’s. A significant part of this is a service centered to offer daily deliveries to our customers.

We have a dedicated team in Italy for customer service and we’re looking to develop the Sales and Marketing specifically through addition of key staff over the coming months.

Job Summary
The position of Brand Promoter is a key role working and directly supporting the International Sales Manager and the UK sales team. Our best candidate will succeed by increasing revenue by helping our sales team, negotiating with clients and developing the brand to the next Level.

  • Establish new accounts by organizing and planning daily work schedule to build on existing or potential sales.
  • Help and assist the actual UK sales team in order to achieve greater goals.
  • Analyse sales and adjust content of sales presentations.
  • Gather current marketplace information on newly introduced products, pricing, and monitor competition
  • Investigate problems; develop solutions, and make recommendations to management in order to resolve customer complaints
  • Attend trade shows; and be involved in other kind of events where the brand would need your assistance
  • Provide historical records by keeping records on customer inquiries and sales
  • Contribute to team efforts in accomplishing organizational goals.

 

Location:
The successful candidate must be based in the UK and will be reporting to our International Sales Manager in Italy.
This role will require some trips to the HQ and some international bike shows.

UK SALES REPRESENTATIVE

For thirty years MET has been making helmets for the very best in the sport of cycling.
We are now looking for a competitive sales representative to develop sales and attract new IBD’s in the London greater area.

Location: The successful candidate must be based in the London Greater area.

Main duties & Responsibilities

  • Work close with our existing shops and bring value to them
  • Establish new accounts by organizing and planning daily work schedule to build on existing or potential sales
  • Research potential volume of dealers and focus on sales & training
  • Gather market information
  • Attend trade shows; and be ready to train your best accounts
  • Contribute to team efforts in accomplishing organizational goals.

Essential Criteria

  • Customer service oriented, with the ability to meet sales goals good knowledge of the cycle industry
  • Proven commercial experience
  • Able to manage different customers at the same time
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office
  • Data and literacy skills

Desirable Criteria

  • Keen interest and enjoyment of sport of cycling
  • Previous contact with sales in the protection category
